my shining shimmering splendid planner
Wednesday night is SB night for us (me and my officemates). After office our feet brought us at Starbucks Silver city (near Tiendesitas).
It's a walking distance from our workplace. There we chill, we laugh, indeed it awaken our senses and erases the tension of stressful day even just for a moment.
Yes, I can say that SB has become a third place for me and my friends, it host our reunions, reunions of our closest friends, it's a place where we are not afraid to show our emotions, mix emotions. We are not ashamed to get notice off because everybody there has their own business, has their own stories to tell whether they are alone (with a company of a laptop and iphone) or with friends. Stories that makes us cry, laugh, furious and stories that inspires us. To others it becomes their sanctuary.
It somehow makes a lasting connection between friends, new found friends, a love of your life and your family.
It's that third place where you can meet people from different walks of life.

it's a wonder how starbucks has become part of our culture ano? i guess more than the coffee, it's the atmosphere and the companionship of our friends. :)

for 2010, i've never been to starbucks. wala akong pangstarbucks eh. hehehe. but my third place na halos araw-araw kung pinupuntahan ay ang puregold sa st francis square.
