Last June, I had a leisure trip to Singapore together with my jet setter friend Danggit and her two officemates. I been waiting for this trip and I’m so excited since it’s my first trip out of the country.
Months June to July is the “Great Singapore Sale” and according to danggit all establishments are giving up to 70% discounts and being a borderline shoppaholic, it heightened my excitement.
I made a promise to my self that I will not spend too much. My budget is tight and I’m saving for our next trip in Bangkok. My plan is only to buy digicam and some pasalubong for my family and friends. On the plane going to Singapore, while Danggit was busy with her laptop, I on the other hand have nothing to do, I can’t sleep either so she lend me her Ipod Classic, I was listening to music and then she asked me if I want to watch a movie, I thought she was referring to her laptop but she means her Ipod pala (hahaha sorry I’m not that techie person). All the while I thought Ipod is only for music (hahaha shame on me). I was able to watch some episodes of sex and the City season one, the Ipod keeps me company through out the trip. Although I planned only to buy digicam, on my mind I entertained the idea of buying an Ipod, but I abruptly wipe the idea away (it hadn’t sink in yet how entertaining Ipod is to me)
On our itinerary, first day is for shopping, our first stop, PC expo at Suntec City for my digicam. I bought a sony digicam for a low price which by the way comes with lots of freebies, it’s really a good buy. On our 3rd day, while I was counting how much did I spend for shopping, Sentosa trip, food and payment for our accommodation, yeepee, I have extra money left which gave back to idea of buying an Ipod nano, danggit and I researched the prices and made some comparisons before I came to a decision of buying it. We rushed back to PC expo to buy my Nano (plus freebies). The blue one looks nicer but since I love green (loving it) which according to feng shui(im a fanatic) is the lucky color for me, I go with the green.
Since then my nano and I were inseparable, it’s my new companion, I love it, and im loving it everyday. Every night is a movie date with my nano (minus the popcorn). Im glad we’ve meet.
By the way it’s our 2nd monthsary.
