This Murakami Diary (fresh from Japan, lol) really cheered me up, a good friend tessah of Her Saccharine sent this gorgeous diary, you are so sweet dear, thanks so much, i so love it. It was so nice that i don't want to write anything on it because i'm afraid to mess it up, lol.

This card greeted me when i came home tonight, from Abu Dhabi with love witsandnuts, jo thank you so much not only for this but for the friendship, my kisses and hugs for you. Enjoy the rest of your vacation. I hope we can meet someday, soon.

holiday mode

Aloha everyone!

I took a day off yesterday and spent it with my good friend M who came home to celebrate the holiday here in Pinas, we shopped all day (my favorite past-time), chat, in short we paint the town red. It was nice to be reunited with your friends noh?

Malls everywhere was crowded and everyone is in a holiday mode. Last Sunday we watched the "Paskotitap sa Pasig", it was a Christmas Floats organized by the city government of Pasig. Several organizations, schools and industries joined the parade. I had a hard time taking pictures because it was crowded and people blocked my view but i tried and succeeded, i took few decent pictures to share with you:

PLDT never failed to infuriate me every morning since i signed up for the DSL for our new office hayy, it's been a month and they haven't installed it yet, I call them everyday to follow and i get the same answer "we already coordinated to the concern group, blah blah", it is so frustrating, that we don't have a choice but to wait for them since they are the only servicing the area, (another hayyy).

Anyway, on a brighter side, we had a year-end party last night here in our crazy little office. Why i love my company, it's because we have a flexi time, no boss to mandate, annoy and act like gwardya sibil through out the day and most of all we can play while we work, work while we play and drink while we work and play, yes, we are allowed to drink (in moderation of course), do what ever we want as long as we deliver a quality project on time.

This is our fridge stuffed with cans of san mig light, a left over from last night.

and, on the other side of my world, i got a package 2 days ago, my first ever package received from a blogger friend sheng . She sent me a green and maroon sarong (in time for the coming summer, lol) , a cute bracelet ( i bet you made it) thanks thanks and a love letter, lol, (it's been a year since someone wrote me a touching letter) i'm so touched. THANK YOU, you're so generous!

I was surprised, I never thought that i can find nice and true friends in the net. I am so grateful. Sa uulitin, sheng, lol.

Love keeps coming in, i got a new bag (a new addition to my bag collection) as an exchanged gift from our class Christmas party last Saturday. I was amazed that she picked my favorite color without mentioning it to her, hmmm looks like mental telepathy really works!

and oh, i noticed that i only have two posts for this week, one on monday (week starter) and this one as a weekender its because i'm lazy to make kwento, i just blog hopped.

for a change

i have a new template again, for the nth time, it goes with my moods, as you see, i get bored easily, anyway for a change, i'll be having my BFF as my co-author, he'll write one post per week most probably on his TGIT (thank God it's Thursday), he's working in UAE as a professor, so expect posts about life in middle east. For his personal details i'll let him do the writing, so watch out for him. TC

me: "ekkk.. wrong, do i look like sick or something?"
me: "okey guess?"
boy: "i know na, you have pimple on your nose, right?"
me: "engg.. wrong again, ano ka ba? sobrang given na yung answer ano vah?"
boy: "ahh i know na talaga(with excitement), so people won't recognize you!"
me: " errr????"
boy: "why nga?"
me: "excercise your brain duh!"
boy: "eto na tlaga, you're whispering something?"
me: "helller ano ba??? "
boy: "nag pa pa cute ka!"
me: " helleeer again!!"
boy: " hmm, you want to show your red nail polish?? (doubtful)"
me: "whew! you got it! finally! You are still a man deep inside... lol"

a picture can mean a lot of things indeed.

Im sorry for being such a drama queen lately, im just expressing what I feel, it’s my way of coping up, I want to let it out. I want to thank two people who did me a favor in different ways:

First, Meng, I am giving your ears its first day off. For years you’ve been patiently listening to my endless stories, my blah blah blah. Thanks for giving me thousands of advice (some of it I refused to follow but most of it are helpful and meaningful. You never failed me. You made me realized the realities in life, thank you boy, my life will never be the same without you. So enjoy your day off.

Second, to someone who came into my life when I was mending my broken heart. You made me feel special. When you said you love me, I never doubted your sincerity. You came and went away unexpectedly for reasons I don’t understand, but I still want to thank you, maybe you have served your purpose in me.

I made one confused soul happy today!

A friend confided to me about her love dilemma. I don’t want to go into details in respect of her privacy but im really glad that after our short conversation she was enlightened,

“thanks mitch, I feel a lot better now”.

It feels good when you make someone happy despite the fact that I too have my own problem to deal with. Simple deed really makes a lot of difference. Now I know the purpose of my existence.

My future made of honor

Last night I have seen Made of Honor with my nano. In the movie the bride’s made of honor is her male best friend (but they end up together, just see the movie, funny and cute) and that made me think when I get married maybe I could have a male made of honor too, its not that I don’t have a girl best friends, please don’t get me wrong I have lots of girlfriends, but the idea of having a male made of honor is worth giving a try, I know that it will cause many eye browses raise but I couldn’t careless, its my wedding anyway, I want to be non- traditional (just a bit). Well, and who could be my male made of honor? I couldn’t think of anyone but Oh boy, Oh boy is my very uber close friend, he knows everything about me, every details of me, he is my partner in crime, my crying shoulder, my shrink and my safety net. He could be the perfect made of honor for me, and oh if I’m going to marry Oh boy’s friend he could be a made of honor and a best man too, how’s that? Quiet a big role boy (multi-tasking, tumbling ever) but I know you can make it. Just be ready, I can feel it, its coming very soon (hahha, kumusta nman yon, exagg). And I know that you’ll be the happiest person (next to me and my groom of course) when my Big Day comes. Oh boy who is always concern about my love life, I terribly miss you, I wish you were here.
