Dear diary

I am not very organize, i don't plan(except of course for some specially events), I'm more of a "come-what-may" type of person, and more often my planners are half filled because I find them too nice to be mess up by my hideous handwriting.

But sometimes it's nice to be reminded of the things you've done, a year ago or what you did last summer, so here are some except from my old planners/diaries:

PLDT never failed to infuriate me every morning since i signed up for the DSL for our new office hayy, it's been a month and they haven't installed it yet, I call them everyday to follow and i get the same answer "we already coordinated to the concern group, blah blah", it is so frustrating, that we don't have a choice but to wait for them since they are the only servicing the area, (another hayyy).

Anyway, on a brighter side, we had a year-end party last night here in our crazy little office. Why i love my company, it's because we have a flexi time, no boss to mandate, annoy and act like gwardya sibil through out the day and most of all we can play while we work, work while we play and drink while we work and play, yes, we are allowed to drink (in moderation of course), do what ever we want as long as we deliver a quality project on time.

This is our fridge stuffed with cans of san mig light, a left over from last night.

and, on the other side of my world, i got a package 2 days ago, my first ever package received from a blogger friend sheng . She sent me a green and maroon sarong (in time for the coming summer, lol) , a cute bracelet ( i bet you made it) thanks thanks and a love letter, lol, (it's been a year since someone wrote me a touching letter) i'm so touched. THANK YOU, you're so generous!

I was surprised, I never thought that i can find nice and true friends in the net. I am so grateful. Sa uulitin, sheng, lol.

Love keeps coming in, i got a new bag (a new addition to my bag collection) as an exchanged gift from our class Christmas party last Saturday. I was amazed that she picked my favorite color without mentioning it to her, hmmm looks like mental telepathy really works!

and oh, i noticed that i only have two posts for this week, one on monday (week starter) and this one as a weekender its because i'm lazy to make kwento, i just blog hopped.

as i was blessed with flexible working hours i did some friends a favor, i did shopping for them! (yay, sarap ng buhay) lol! Who doesn't love shopping anyway?

So sheng, the "think green" shirt will be delivered in your doorstep any moment now, lol.

good morning Juan dela Cruz

this foggy window greeted me this morning, i woke up at 5:30am which is very unusual, normally i wake up at 7:00. The breeze outside is cold which is an indication that Christmas is a few hops away and no one can stop it, that reminds me also to finish my list and mail some greeting cards.

Since i'm one of the lucky people who had a privilege of buying my own time, yes, (i'm so mayabang) my working hours is flexible, it gave me a leeway not rush every morning i wake up, that i don't have to curse the traffic and the drivers who stopped by the gas station to fill their tanks because i don't have to catch a bandy clock or the biometric nor wish the clock to stop till i reach my office, this is one of the things i'm thankful for, God is so Great.

I decided to wash away unwanted calories by means of this treadmill which me and my sister bought a month ago, this is only my 4th time using it, im lazy, i know, that's why when i'm in mood i took advantage of it.
Exercise does really gives us energy and a state of happy mood. Speaking of happy mood, i watched the morning news and i heard a good news not only for me but for all the commuters (what perfect day to begin with!), this is an early Christmas gift for every Juan dela Cruz (Filipinos), the jeepney fare will rollback to P7.50 minimum fare this December, hooray! and not only that, OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) who have been laid-off because of the global financial crisis will have a merry Christmas too because TESDA is doing something to train them, i believed it is a sort of lovelihood projects to start a new life here (made me sing " babalik ka rin", lol), isn't it good news, that we can say life is still beautiful after all?

It's my day today, why, first i'm wearing my comfort shirt, second i won a free desert!

On our way to the office after attending the mass, C and I dropped by at dessert solutions (it's a dessert store) located at our building lobby here in eastwood, C choose chocolate mousse for P50 and I picked mocha java for P55, the problem is C and I had only P50 each, we asked the sales attendant if she can give it to me for P50 only, at first she told me to buy na lang chocolate mousse, but i'm craving for mocha java so i insist the P5 tawad, she turned to her boss. The boss (wearing his chef uniform) approach us and said yes but told us not to tell anyone, okey surely!

While waiting for the dessert i noticed the "drop your card here" fish bowl and asked the boss how often they do the raffle, he said everyday, I told him i dropped my card the other day, he asked if my name was picked up already, i said no (with matching head motion), the next thing i know, he was fishing on the bowl, did a little mixing on the cards (eyes closed) and viola!! OMG! (exagg:)) he picked my card, i can easily recognize my card among the rest because it's red. i told him that's me, he said really? how will i know if it's you (at that time a don't have any IDs), he asked if i have my cellphone with me, good thing i have and he called my cell, "ring, ring, oh it's really you! yah, That's me!

So i had this mocha java for free! Half of it was shared with my sweet tooth officemate, a.k.a, sugar. Sorry the picture is vague, i used my not so vavavoom cellcam, i always forgot to bring my digicam.

chaotic week

i been busy, confused, stressed out and discombobulated this week, i'll catch up with tags when i got my sanity back!

Manic Monday

today is one of the stressful days of my seldom stressful job but i won over procrastination, i have done much work today, so tiring but yay for me!

i'll watch episode 9 of CSI (Vegas) later, my spoiler officemate told me that Warrick is dead (spoiler too) sad.. but i heard too that Sara is back. I'll have to watch the rest...can't wait

I'll be starting Fringe marathon tomorrow, im excited to see pacey...

this is not me

today is holiday (edil fitr) and it's pouring hard, Metro Manila is under public storm signal number 2 (typhoon Pablo) and there are more to come before the year ends. I prefered to work instead of staying at home and cuddle my pillows, im so restless and acting like a scoundrel this past few days, i easily get irritated on small things i dont know why(is it because of my hormones?) im not usually like that, my american boss always ask me why i am always happy? im a jolly person, my bad mood only last for two hours, that's the normal me, but rigth now i just couldnt, whatever i see, wherever i go, i always find something that annoys me. This morning i almost shouted the jeepney driver on my way to office because his music is ver very very loud, he couldnt hear passengers saying "para and bayad" but is still managed not too(good thing).

Does it happen to you? do you easily get pissed off on super petty things? i have no reason to be anger at all, im acting weird, this is not me.

disorganize

I really wanted to write about so many things but i cant organize my thoughts and i'm in a state of mixed emotions, so to save you from headache i decided to write out of nothing and leave this thought instead:

Tsk Tsk .. Manila in flood again..

Since we moved to Pasig three years ago, last night was the first time I saw our place in flood. For the past 3 years many storms hit Manila, most of them are super typhoons but never leave our area in doused. Last night was not even a typhoon, it just rain so hard with thunder and lightning. I left the office at 7pm. When we reached the lobby of our building that’s the only time we learned that the rain was so terrible, my officemate and I decided to go since the lobby are full of smoking bystanders and we choose to get wet rather than caught an asthma due to smoke.

When I reached the tricycle station in our area around 8pm, I was surprised that there are no line ups of tricycle but a line of stranded commuters. I was wondering what was going on, it never occur to me that there's flood (whatsoever) because I never experience a flood in our area before.

After 10mins of waiting I was finally got a ride, that’s when I found out that we are in flood and I heard from the driver that earlier the flood is knee level. I saw a lot of plastics floating in the dark and smelly water (eww) nonetheless the kids are happily playing in the water as if they were in the ocean (where are your parents?)

When I saw litters floating, I suspected that the cause of flood is the clogged drainage. Maybe litters accumulated and clogged the passageway. It can be caused by those who don’t dispose their garbage properly.

I couldn't help but wonder, are people becoming too rude and irresponsible to their surroundings? When are we going to take to care of our environment? I’m not an environment expert and I am once guilty of being careless to my surroundings especially when I was a kid but I realized the damage I contributed to the destruction of our environment. It is a no-brainer to figure out how to take care of it. We know how, we just don’t have the discipline.

Thoughts to ponder: When are we going to learn the lesson? When we are all drowned?

sunday domestic diva

I’m a bit crazy these past few days over the things I don’t have control with. Things didn’t come out the way I expected it to be and it leaves me thwarted. I’m trying to divert my attention to other things just to help me loosen up a bit. Today I busied my self doing household chores. Our helper left 4 days ago and we don’t have any replacement yet. So after breakfast I washed the dishes, map the floor, clean the bathroom, took a bath and iron clothes (except the laundry). Whew! Sweat! These are the things I regular do way back in college when we don’t have house help yet, I missed the chores though. It’s like working out, need not Hip Hops Abs to trim some fats (lol).

What I’m really after is to exhaust my body physically and mentally and surrender my self to sleep not thinking of anything. I know I’m okey or im just convincing myself? When does life get simpler? It doesn’t. I know this too shall pass and as they always say, life is not always dark as we believe it.

I still manage to smile...

I heart earth

While I was shopping for my pamangkins school supplies I found I heart earth notebook made from recycled materials, though the ring is made of plastic but the rest are recycled.
It’s one of the fund raising campaigns launched by Bantay Kalikasan for the restoration of La Mesa Watershed to ensure sustainable clean water supply.

We are facing a lot of environmental problems and I believed that it is time to be more concern and help save our mother earth we owe it to the next generation.

I remember when I was a kid and still living in our province, I like to smell the smoke emitted by a motorcycle muffler ( don’t’ laugh, I know im weird) and surprisingly I didn’t get asthma or any respiratory diseases but now I couldn’t stand anything of it (im crazy if I still like it). When I started living in the city I got allergic rhinitis and it’s getting worse because of so many pollutants around us.

We should start acting now before it becomes too late. Let start in our home, pick up litter where we can, wherever, whenever, recycle things, stop using plastics. Doing small deeds can make a big difference.

Help save the earth, save our life.

feeling like condiments

today i am feeling like sugar and salt...oh! i can taste pepper too.. i hope i run out of something bitter to taste, please no.. it's odd.. i am trying to work andrew's words into my core and i am very positive about it, need to stay focused..

charge to experience.

Whenever bad things happen, when i committed mistakes, I always (and most of us i believed)say "charge to experience" but never heard someone say it whenever good things comes there way, i wonder why?

experience is indeed the best teacher, I owe everything to it and the people who become an accomplice. If one day it will charge me for exceeding my limit plus interest and late charges, i may never be able to pay and will always be in debt.

every person who walks in to your life is a teacher. even if they drive you nuts, they teach you because they show your where your limits are. just because people are your teachers doesn't mean you have to like them.

last night is one of my sleepless nights, I don't know why. After trying so hard to get my self some sleep, i ended up in my PC instead and write this this thought:

D, my gal pal who has a wonderful marriage couldn't help but wonder,

"why do you have to be with someone if they are not meant to stay? Why do we have to be in a relationship when it is not meant to last?"

I replied, "you wouldn't be with your wonderful husband and beautiful kids if not because of them."

i'm exhausted, sigh...

today, I really am exhausted. I have a lot of things to say but i can't. It's not that I couldn't describe what i feel, it is because im afraid i might divulge too much of my self and what i really feel inside. I realized that i'm still a private person and still want to keep something for my self, i really am not ready to go very public. There are things that are better left unsaid, feelings that are better left unexpressed. Sometimes it's better to just sigh, sigh says it all no need to say more.
